A couple of hiccups with the survey. I have messaged Backer Kit and hopefully will hear back sometime tomorrow. What I have noticed is that some lovely folks have tried to "add on" a donated Rose owl plush or a book but because they had donated extra during the campaign (I have such a generous community!) its not picking up these "add on's" properly. We will figure it out and if your one of those extra generous backers - thank you - and i'll send you a message directly once I figure it out.

Surveys Are Coming Out!

Today I sent out the "Smoke Test" - so 5% of backers will receive surveys to fill out today! If yours comes in, please fill it out as soon as possible as a certain number need to fill it out before the system will allow me to send out the surveys to everyone. The point of the "Smoke Test" is to catch any issues with the survey right away so we can fix anything needed prior to opening up the survey to everyone. 

Evgeniya is working on the cover Illustration for OUCH! and then OUCH! will be in the hands of Arlene Soto our fabulous book designer to put her magic too before it is ready to go!

Rose 3.0 Prototype Pictures In & I Love It!

We have 12 days left in the Plushie campaign and Rose the Owl Plush is at 112% funded. Hoot Hoot! Thank you everyone who has supported this project. Received pictures of Rose 3.0 and I love it! We are changing the fabric on the leaf so that it can be printed on with a leaf design and trying an embroidered blush and then it will be shipped to me to approve the sample in person before production starts.

Why Backer Kit? Its another log in...etc. I KNOW! 

Its a bit frustrating to go to a different platform and enter your info (like every time I need to reset my passwords for everywhere) but this was my WHY

My OUCH! OOPS! OH NO! project isn't quite ready to ship yet - the illustrations for OUCH! are super close and OOPS! and OH NO! will follow quickly after that. Then it will be handed over to the Book Designer and then printed.

I really wanted to create Rose the Owl Plush to be able to coordinate shipping with OUCH! OOPS! OH NO! and save everyone money on shipping costs who may want to have a Rose plushie as well. Kickstarter only likes you to have one open campaign at a time so if I had waited until fulfillment was done - I wouldn't be able to coordinate the shipping. Backer Kit has an amazing pledge management platform (thats what they are known for...the crowdfunding bit is pretty new) and the ability to add on pledges and they have said they can help me combine my OUCH! OOPS! OH NO! pledges with Rose the Owl to streamline everything. I was also secretly hoping that a Plush campaign would go wild and we could gain more of an audience on Backer Kit so I could use some of the funds to do an offset print run for OUCH! OOPS! OH NO! as a surprise. (not currently anticipating that will happen but thats ok!)

What I do think can happen with this campaign is that we can have 75 Rose Plushies donated to children with Moebius syndrome at the upcoming conference! To make that happen, we need ONLY 34 more donations.

A donated plush is $20 or only $15 if you are already pledging for something!

Putting this intention into the universe - this could be 34 people pledging for a donated plush to 1 person who adds all those donations into the cart and pledges (it would look like this :)) Pretty Sweet, Right?!? http://rosetheowlplush.com
